Nawab by definition is a royal rank or title. In the tradition of the grandeur of the royalty in India, we bring to North America, Nawab Authentic Indian Cuisine. We have been proudly serving some of Mumbai’s finest flavors to our customers for over 18 years in 3 continents. And now in the exclusive and exotic corner of Bathurst and Center Streets in Thornhill, we have found our new home. We take pride in creating our dishes that are unique in flavors and freshness as well as being health conscious in our cooking methods. Our sauces are prepared fresh daily, thus reducing the exposure to oxidization and loss of flavour. At Nawab, all our mouth-watering recipes have been created by our in-house expertise and have evolved over the last 20 plus years, not to be found elsewhere. Our dishes are unique to others in the marketplace primarily due to the evolution of our recipes and our distinctive cooking processes, thus allowing you the opportunity to try familiar dishes with our own unique twist. Be wary, over a third of our menu consists of our own creations, not to be experienced elsewhere. In a typical Nawab tradition, our décor mimics the rich ambiance of past Indian royalty, where our furnishings and authentic handicrafts were hand made in India and imported. All of the fine details were commissioned by our Architect of 20 years, who flew here from the heart of Mumbai to oversee the final construction. Lastly, our aim is to tie in the excellent food and rich ambiance with majestic service to spoil you.

We really enjoyed the fine dining at Nawab. The service was amazing, the food was fantastic, and the whole environment really took you back to India.

When I visited the restaurant I needed good service and good food. The result was that me and my friend got excellent food and service, now I go periodically to enjoy the place.

I have been to this restaurant several times and each experience has been excellent. The quality of service has consistently been great. The food is absolutely delicious, authentic and always made with top quality ingredients.

I went to Nawab with my friends and it was the best Indian food I ever ate. We had lolipop chicken, lamb chops and garlic naan as starters. WOW!! What Amazing flavours. Saffron chicken and the lamb biryani were to die for! I cant wait to go back :-))

Nawab Authentic Indian Cuisine is a delightful place to enjoy creative Indian meals. The food has a perfect blend of spices and taste that can be enjoyed by everybody. The menu has a variety of dishes, from the ever popular Butter Chicken or Lamb Curry to such novelty appetizers as Lollipop Chicken and Garlic Veggie Balls. The food is appealing to the seasoned Indian palette or for someone wishing to try something new.
